Parkhotel Tornio is currently carrying out a business development project with the primary goal of achieving growth through international tourism. In line with the company’s strategy, the project supports internationalization, for example through digitalization and product development. The project is co‑funded by the European Union.

Ekokompassi (EcoCompass)

Park Hotel has been awarded the EcoCompass certificate in recognition of its efforts to promote environmental responsibility. The certificate is granted to organizations committed to reducing their environmental impact and developing their operations in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

The hotel’s environmental efforts have included improving energy efficiency, enhancing waste sorting and recycling, reducing food waste, and promoting responsible procurement.

The hotel continues its sustainability journey towards the Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) label developed by Visit Finland—a program designed to support tourism companies in developing sustainable tourism practices.
